Before completing the order I should have looked at the shipping cost. Had I done so, l wouldn't of ordered the product.

I hate that the shipping is more than…

I hate that the shipping is more than the cost of the item. I'm usually a little more careful about that.

I have been using Webstaurant for my…Catering and Baked goods business

I have been using Webstaurant for my equipment, supplies and baking material products for several years. I have consistently found their personal to be top-level professionals. Their willingness and speed in correcting any problem I have had is refreshing! I would and do recommend them to all my friends and family.

Great Place to shop

Navigating the site was very easy and it offers a great deal of appliances that can perform dual duty, i.e. home use and commercial use. I was looking for a good food dehydrator that I could use for home use and the selection was great. Also, for the size, the price was VERY reasonable and the equipment looks sturdy for many years of use.

I totally believe the shipping costs are too high, it does not cost $20.91 to send a can opener, extremely high and gouging people trying to stay in business 09

Nice product but the Shipping costs are EXTREME!!!!!!! $18 to ship $7 worth of merchandise. FIRST AND LAST ORDER!!!!!! 55 cents of postage would have gotten them here! OUTRAGEOUS PROFITEERING!

Poor customer support

Advertised customer support is non-existent. This is an e-commerce site that does not engage with customers. They claim that they will engage with customers online, but the chat was a robot with only canned answers to generic questions. very disappointing.

Webstrauntstore the terrible company and wont honor returns. Make sure you item is signed for and not damaged from shipping

Ordered a Cecil wear elt 250 electric countertop deep fryer.. product arrived damaged. After waiting 3 weeks for parts. The repair servicemen deemed the fryer inoperable. Webstrauntstore refused my return because the item was deemed used (policy states that the item must be returned in original packaging) this was impossible because the box was destroyed in shipping. Which then voided my warranty.. over $1,000 thrown down the drain. Avoid this company at all costs.

Attention Execs!

I ordered a $600 catering cooler. It was delivered late, with incorrect tracking, and arrived beaten and abused. I'd say the fault lies with FedEx, but at this point there's no excuse for Webstaurantstore to repeatedly let this happen.

To the C-Suite of Webstaurantstore I just have one question. Why? Why would you allow this to happen? I've been working in the food industry as a chef, research chef/new products, and consultant for 25 years. When you make a quality product you need to make sure it is well cared for on its way to the customer. If I made a fine dish I would not give it to a server who is going to stick their fingers in it, leave the food sit for 30 minutes, then serve it dirty, cold, and late... or not at all. If I did I would not be surprised when my customers leave bad reviews and my business fails.

This is your company. Take some pride in it! I'm sorry to tell you but YOU HAVE A SERIOUS PROBLEM! Go read your reviews. Most of your problems with customer satisfaction have to do with shipping damages and delays. Almost all of those problems come not from your packaging or products, but from damages caused by FedEx. Now that you've read your reviews go read those of FedEx. I'm not alone in choosing to avoid businesses that insist on shipping with FedEx. Every delivery from them is messed up, stressful, and costly to me in time, labor, and productivity.

If you take any pride in your business whatsoever you MUST STOP SHIPPING WITH FedEx!! I would happily pay you more to avoid FedEx, but you give your customers no choice. This is nuts!

I will keep an eye on your business and maybe give you another chance once I know you have abandoned this inexcusable disaster of a shipping company. For now I have several local restaurant supply stores and Amazon to go to. If you're lucky you'll still be around when I'm willing to give you another chance, but not if you keep disrespecting your customers by sending good products through a garbage disposal shipper.
